The following information is provided in an effort to answer a few questions that have been asked and to
explain how the project is being administered.
Question: How are the funds used to administer the project?
Answer:
· All monies collected for the project are deposited into a dedicated bank account with its own TIN/EIN number and are solely for the construction, maintenance, transportation, and utilization of this display. The project is fully recognized as a non-profit 501(3)(C) tax -exempt charitable organization. Any monies collected in excess of expenses will be held in the dedicated account and utilized to maintain, repair, and transport the display or to address special needs of visual and hearing- impaired individuals or other disabled persons. Other costs may include, trailer registration, display insurance, etc. We will always continue to accept donations to the project to facilitate the above. We will look at ways to improve the project for all viewing audiences and we are planning on giving scholarship awards in the near future.
No donated funds go to the NH Fish and Game Department or to the NH Conservation Officer's Relief Association accounts.
Question: Who is CORA and how are we associated with NH Fish & Game?
Answer:
· The connection between this project and NH Conservation Officers Relief Assoc. (CORA) is as follows.... This project started with a concept that CO John Wimsatt developed with Ray Deragon (who found the antlers). John needed a support system to move the project forward. CORA is a non- profit benevolent association of NH Conservation officers, not union or partisan, that works to foster good relations with NH F&G, its membership, and sportsmen. John is an active member of CORA and asked for their support of this initiative. NH Fish and Game as an agency has partnered with CORA and the NH Locked Moose Antelr Project, Inc. to help support this endeavor.
Question: Where will the exhibit be displayed?
Answer:
The display is available to any outdoor sports show, trapping, hunting, fishing clubs, businesses, and organizations, state fairs, etc, that support our mission. We are committed to supporting the sponsor and donor clubs, organizations, etc of this project as time allows. We will make every effort to address requests for its use in New Hampshire and the New England area.
