Gas Guzzler Auto Sales Down In U.S., But Up In China!
Frank and Earnest recently saw a report that stated that SUVs are among the fastest growing market segments in China and had to find out why!
Frank & Earnest say, “they're big, they’re expensive and they are gas-guzzling, so why is it that these fuel guzzling autos are a big hit in China?
GM officials said SUVs and luxury cars are the fastest-growing market segments in China.
Well, Frank & Earnest found that the fuel prices are government controlled in China and are among the lowest in the world! How’s that grab you?
Yup - due to government regulation in China, you can currently get gas in China for under $3 a gallon.
Frank says that maybe our government could take a few lessons from the Chinese Government!
Ahhh, but don’t worry, the United States isn’t the worst! In the Netherlands, they are at an average of $6.48 per gallon. Yet, in Venzuala, the price for a gallon of gas is currently .12¢ per gallon. Hmmmm........
Frank & Earnest Color The World!
Frank was talking about successful companies while in the office recently and Earnest brought up the fact that the Crayola, Corp. was celebrating a milestone.
It doesn’t matter how old you are, just about everyone in the country has picked up a good old Crayola crayon and had their go at a coloring book!

The new colors include Super Happy, Fun in the Sun, Giving Tree, Bear Hug, Awesome, Happy Ever After, Famous and Best Friends!
The popular 64 box of Crayola crayons, complete with a built-in sharpener, first debuted on the Captain Kangaroo show back in in 1958!
According to Crayola’s website, more than 200 million Crayola 64 Boxes have been sold over the last 50 years!
Kudos to the Crayola Company - what would any kid have done without them!!
F & E Say You’ll Never Guess Where The Best Tap Water Is Located!
Just like a wine tasting, the National Rural Water Association tested and tasted the water throughout the countryside recently and you will never guess who or should we say where, was named to have the best tap water!
Well folks, believe it or not, the tap water from Southampton, Massachusetts, was named the best-tasting last week among samples from the nation's small-town water departments.
The National Rural Water Association organized the Great American Water Taste Test in Washington.
The other finalists in the water testing included North Kingstown, Rhode Island; Lewes, Delaware; Lorain, Ohio; and Avilla, Indiana.
The water was judged on three attributes: clarity, bouquet and taste.
So there you have - Frank & Earnest have given you the news you just couldn’t live without!
Frank wonders what you clean your palette with when taste testing water!!!
As always, Frank & Earnest will be back next issue - maybe!
Signed,
Frank & Earnest
